Current Sewer Rates
Sewer rates or charges are imposed upon and shall be collected from the Owner of each Improved Property which shall be connected to the Sewer System, for use of the Sewer System, whether such use shall be direct or indirect, which sewer rates or charges shall commence and shall be effective as of the date of connection of each such Improved Property to the Sewer System, and shall be payable as provided herein, in accordance with the following schedule of rates and classifications:
Residential
Each dwelling unit is billed separately, including apartments, double houses, and rows of connecting houses.
Non-Residential
Commercial, Industrial, Schools, Clubrooms, Fire Houses, Professional Offices, Banks, Hospitals, Churches, Chapels, Institutions, etc.
All Owners of non-residential Improved Properties connected to the Sewer System shall pay sewer rates or charges based upon actual water consumption, with exceptions as hereinafter noted. All sewer rates or charges based upon water consumption shall be computed in accordance with the following rate schedule.

Water Used for Billing
The volume of water to be used for billing sewer rates or charges to Owners of non-residential Improved Properties connected to the Sewer System shall include any and all water purchased from the Water Company and in addition all water obtained from any other source (wells, springs, streams, etc.) as determined: (a) by meters installed and maintained by the Water Company; or (b) by meters installed and maintained by this Authority; or (c) by meters maintained and installed by the Owner of the non-residential Improved Property, as approved by this Authority; or (d) from estimates or measurements made by the Authority, where this Authority considers metering impractical.
Excluded Non-Contaminated Water
Exclusion from the Sewer System of non-contaminated waste waters may be required by this Authority or such exclusion may be optional with the Owner of the non-residential Improved Property if not required by this Authority. When such waters are so excluded, the sewer rates or charges will be based on total water consumed, less water excluded, at the rates stipulated under Subsection B 1 above. Water excluded may be determined from meters installed and maintained by the Owner of the non-residential Improved Property, as approved by this Authority, from estimates or measurements made by this Authority, or the Owner of the non-residential Improved Property may elect to measure the volume of wastes actually discharged to the Sewer Systems as provided below.
Industrial Waste Metering
This Authority may require an Owner of an Industrial Establishment or the Owner of an Industrial Establishment may elect to install, pay for and maintain a meter approved by this Authority for measuring wastes discharged into the Sewer System in which case the sewer rates or charges shall be based on the actual volume of wastes discharged into the Sewer System at the rates specified under Subsection B 1 above.
Additional Classifications and Agreements
Additional classifications and sewer rates or charges or modifications of the above schedule or sewer rates or charges may be established by this Authority from time to time as deemed necessary. Nothing contained herein shall be construed as prohibiting special agreements between this Authority and establishments connected to the Sewer System under conditions and circumstances making special agreements advisable and necessary.
